Group classes are perfect for dogs that get along well with other dogs and people. Socialization, distractions – it’s all built into the curriculum!

No need to worry if your dog isn’t well-behaved in public – that’s what these classes are for! You and your pup will learn important life skills such as paying attention to you in public, walking loosely on a leash, waiting before crossing the road, and more!

What:

Puppy Prep School – Basic obedience, life skills, and play-learning for puppies. We also use Operation Socialization curriculum!!

Program Length: 6 sessions to be used within 8 weeks of first class

Program Details: For dogs 8 to 16 weeks

IMPORTANT: All puppies must have received first set of shots 7 days prior to starting class. Proof of vaccination and veterinary care will be required to enroll.

Good Doggy Demeanor – Basic obedience and life skills for adult dogs

Cost: $190

Program Length: 6 sessions to be used within 8 weeks of first class

Program Details: Basic manners for dogs 5 months or older

Our curriculum includes:

Loose-leash walking – no more pulling on the leash!

Recall – come when called

Settle – go to a mat

Handling & Grooming – practice scale work in the vet’s office and handling by a “vet” and a “groomer”

IMPORTANT: all dog owners are required to attend an orientation without dogs (held every Monday at Rita’s Grooming in Prince Frederick at 6pm). All dogs must be up to date on bordetella, parvovirus, rabies, and distemper vaccinations; Proof of vaccinations will be required at orientation.
